In-Kind Donations
ELDER CARE SERVICES triages over 2000 emergency and other urgent requests every year. A significant portion of requests are for utility assistance and/or weather related emergencies.
Through generous in-kind donations, Elder Care is able to provide a limited amount of direct material aid to hundreds of seniors who call or walk in with a crisis and connect them to other community agencies who can assist. Items that are always in demand include
- Non perishable food pantry items
- Fans and personal space heaters
- Adaptive medical equipment (walkers, wheel chairs, shower chairs etc).
In-kind donation items may be dropped off during business hours at our office at 2518 W. Tennessee St.
