As our community and nation follow the current health situation involving Coronavirus, Elder Care Services is working diligently to keep the seniors we serve healthy and safe. As a provider of vital services we are considering all options available to ensure that seniors do not miss the meals and in-home care they require to remain healthy. Under these efforts we remain fully operational for services provided directly to seniors in their homes. Our emergency food pantry operated out of our main office is also still providing nutritional services for seniors. We are continuously monitoring health notices from local offices, state nutrition programs, and the CDC. Please follow the link below to see the most up-to-date information regarding our policies.
As we all work to keep our seniors safe, please remember one of the best things you can do is to check on your neighbors. Phone calls to provide a social connection will help relieve insecurities and link us all together as one strong community. With this team effort we will provide essential services to homebound and vulnerable seniors!
Elder Care Services is the leading provider of community-based senior care. Since our founding in 1970 we have been driven by compassionate and generous community members. Each year, over 800 individuals give thousands of hours of service, from delivering Meals on Wheels, to providing companionship, to supporting events. Together, our community partners help us improve the quality of life for seniors and their caregivers.
Elder Care Services is hitting our own aging milestone this year- the 50th anniversary of when we opened the doors to serve local seniors.
