We are thrilled to introduce Best Friends Bistro, a one-of-a-kind event designed to highlight the importance of human connection.
Friendship and social activities enrich everyone's life. For those with dementia, the benefits may boost their mental health and enhance their quality of life. Best Friends Bistro is inspired by an innovative approach spreading throughout Japan of cafes employing only seniors with dementia as the wait staff. These “Restaurants of Mistaken Orders” provide a place for them to remain active in the community.
Join us for lunch on May 8 for an event hosted by attendees of our Elder Day Stay center. This luncheon will feature a buffet, an art auction of pieces created by members of Elder Day Stay, and networking with like-minded individuals. Together we can create a more inclusive and supportive world for those living with dementia!
